Account & Data Deletion
Mobile Mechanic Shop OS allows optional Google sign-in for cloud backup and device-transfer functionality. You may request deletion of your Mobile Mechanic Shop OS account and associated cloud-stored data at any time.
How to Request Deletion
- Send an email to autobytanner@gmail.com .
- Use the subject: Delete My Mobile Mechanic Shop OS Account.
- Send the request from the email address associated with your Google sign-in when possible so the account can be verified.
Data That Will Be Deleted
After a valid request is verified, the Mobile Mechanic Shop OS account and associated cloud-stored data will be deleted, including applicable:
- Customer records
- Vehicle records
- Repair orders and job records
- Job photos and cloud-backed media
- Cloud backups
- Account-associated settings
- Other cloud data associated with the account
Local Device Data
Data stored exclusively on your device is not accessible to the developer. Local data can be removed using the App's Erase Local Data feature or through your Android device's application-storage controls.
Data Retention
Limited information may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations. Any retained information will be limited to what is necessary for those purposes.
Google Play Subscriptions
Deleting your Mobile Mechanic Shop OS account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. Google Play subscriptions must be managed or canceled separately through Google Play.
Processing Time
Deletion requests will be processed within a reasonable period after the request and account association have been verified.
